    Description

    This auction is for a beautiful and rare, antique John Heald cornet.  This cornet is perfect, having been gone through by a local repair shop.  It has the unique double water valve as shown and the 1899 patented tuning slide.   All slides are smooth, and the valves are also perfect.  There are a few small dings, not many but worth mentioning.
    This is a great sounding horn, an early piece of american brass history.  Please see photos, and ask with any other questions.  Good luck bidding on this great horn.
