Up for sale is an Antique Lyon & Healy American Professional Cornet SILVER PLATED COOL!!!  This is a very neat Cornet made by Lyon & Healy and from what I can tell from my research this is one of the nicer models that they produced around the turn of the century.  This particular one is in good shape overall with all parts and pieces present.  There are several dings and dents throughout the piece so please be aware of this.  The piece also has a good amount of tarnish throughout and could use a good polishing/servicing most likely.  I tested a small area of this piece with silver polish and it polished right up so I'm sure that it is at least silver plated.  All the valves work and do not get stuck so that's a good sign and air does move through it so it is not clogged or anything like that.  The piece definitely needs a little bit of work but has a lot of character and is very unique for sure!
Not much else to say about it, I purchased it from a reputable antiques auction house in my area and I have NO IDEA how to play it!
