Mosser Glass Eggplant Purple Hobnail Chip & Dip Bowl Gigi Fenton mould
Now this is a lovely but useful item — a divided chip and dip bowl in Mosser’s new opaque purple “Eggplant”, a great shade with loads of color, in the historic Hobnail pattern, which Mosser refers to a “Gigi”.  Handmade, right here in the USA.  If you recognize the shape, it’s because this bowl was made from a historic Fenton Art Glass Hobnail mould, which Mosser Glass acquired from the Fenton company when it liquidated its mould holdings in 2017.  The hobnail moulds live again at Mosser!
Fenton had a lot of trouble making this item and, in fact, made it only in Milk Glass; but Mosser is producing it in Eggplant and Jade.
The divided bowl
measures a little over 12 inches in diameter, handle to handle.
This is in new, factory condition. No chips or cracks.
