Vintage Conn 80A Cornet in Good Condition - Make an Offer!

This Conn 80A silver plated cornet was made in about 1923 according to its serial number (#206XXX). This instrument is generally in good condition for its age, although it does show some signs of wear and minor repair. Most notably, there is a patch on the lead pipe (see pictures) and some metal fatigue in the second valve slide. The silver plating is in mostly good condition and should polish up nicely. The valves work well and the slides all pull as they should. There is some plating wear around the valves but the instrument is dent-free, apart from the second valve slide. Overall this cornet presents well. We see no signs of significant damage or repair beyond what we've mentioned, and we've run this cornet through our professional brasswind shop to make sure it's in best possible condition.
The original case shows normal signs of wear, but is also in good condition. The handle, latches and hinges all work well.
