For auction is a C G Conn LTD Elkhart Ind. Cornet serial number 183464 circa 1921. It is silver plated with a gold wash bell. It has a rotary valve with C and B-flat marked on it as well as 3007 but I cannot find an A marked anywhere on it. The rotary valve can be moved with fingers as whatever piece went thru the hole is missing. When turned to C tuning note on my tuner says C and when turned to B-flat my tuner says B-flat. The 1st valve slide and the 3rd valve slide are marked B-flat. I have all the slides working very smoothly. Valve caps are free. The valves work nicely. The cornet plays with a very nice tone. There is no mouthpiece with the cornet. The case that comes with the cornet is marked GEIB Chicago. Researching on Conn Loyalist I think Conn 10A Wonder Vocal Cornet comes the closest but I find nothing on it about playing in A. Somebody buy this cornet that knows a lot about them, check it out and send me a message about what it is for sure.
