Marceau was a Sears Roebuck trademark for European-made brass instruments sold through their catalogue. This stunning Model 11 Cornet was made in Czechoslovakia (today's Czech Republic) and dates from the late 1950's. It plays with a clear, ringing tone.
Totally refurbed and sonically cleaned by Dana Hofer Brass Instrument Repair of Des Plaines, Illinois. Inside valve casings scrubbed and polished, valves and slide tubes brass brushed, valves reassembled and aligned, new felts and water keypads; bell dents removed; nickel finish and Bach 6 mouthpiece cleaned and polished.
Engraving intact. Mother of pearl original valve keys.
Comes with a new Wolfpack trumpet gig bag.
