VINTAGE PURPLE WATERMAN'S IDEAL REG. U.S. PAT OFF. FOUNTAIN PEN

I have, for auction, a vintage fountain pen, marked on the outside "WATERMAN'S  REG. U.S.  IDEAL PAT.OFF. Made in USA Fountain Pen". It is 5 inches long, with the cap screwed on. The tip reads "PURPLE WATERMAN'S IDEAL  REG.U.S." I think there may be something below that, but it's not visible enough for me to read. The pen is a mottled reddish brown color with a gold colored band around the lid. This is a used vintage fountain pen which has not been tested. The tip of the nib is complete and intact.  I am not an expert on vintage fountain pens, and have tried to describe this item as accurately as possible. I see that the clip is missing, (Thanks to those who wrote to me!) Also, there is a "94" on the bottom end of the pen body. Also, another mark that I can't identify. a "3" maybe??
