    Description

    (#TNE-OTT-524-C)  Excellent hand crafted tagua nut carving of a little brown, sea or river OTTER (NUTRIA) FLOATING ON BACK WITH SHELL on a tagua nut base; measures 3” long x 1-1/4” wide x 1-5/8” tall.
    Carved in Ecuador of genuine, natural "tagua nut" which is a seed from a special palm tree there (Phytelepas Equatorialis).  The milk inside the seeds solidifies into a product so similar to animal tusk it's hard to tell the difference. New, no defect. Eyes & nose are made of coconut shell dust.
    Great for the otter collector!
